New! Live music on the patio Friday nights in Summer 2009!

Welcome to the Woodford Inn, a small luxury hotel in the heart of the Bluegrass. The inn features 10 guest rooms, casual dining at Cleveland's and the Park Street Bourbon Bar.

Woodford Inn property was purchased in August 2005 by CH Holding Co. LLC. Working with the National Historic Register and the Kentucky Heritage Council, the building was renovated and opened as Woodford County’s only hotel in November 2006.

The restaurant and tavern were leased in June 2008 by owners of two Woodford County dining favorites, Ouita and Chris Michel of the Holly Hill Inn and Paige and Jared Richardson of Wallace Station, who opened Cleveland's at the Woodford Inn. Chefs Ouita and Jared are dedicated to creating good food prepared using the freshest ingredients available, served by a knowledgeable and caring staff. “We are dedicated to preserving local agriculture, and use as much locally grown meat and produce as we can,” Chef Ouita said.

The original structure, built in 1876, served as the Versailles Female College. The Cleveland Orphan Institution Corp., through the estate of John Cleveland, the original benefactor, purchased the property in 1875 through cooperation of its board of directors and local government, with the help of the Optimists Club. It was razed in 1925. The existing structure, built in 1927, is listed on the National Historic Register and as an intimate luxury hotel serves as host to visitors from around the world.
